About

As a child, I had a deep fascination with nature and mythology. I thought these interests would turn me into a biologist or fantasy writer, but as I grew up I found that there were other futures I could also consider. I tried new things, like engineering and programming, and found their behavior fascinating as well, contained in their synthetic ecosystems. Though I still adore my childhood fascinations, I found ways to refactor them into adulthood. There were times I felt lost in my interests, but my art has always been an outlet for my love of narrative and passion for science. Recently, my practice has turned to reflect on the cycle that follows my identity and transformation into adulthood.
